Harmony Health Foundation (“Harmony Health,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Website Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit harmonyhealthfoundation.org (the “Site”). It applies only to information collected through the Site and does not govern offline activities, research programs, clinical services, or other activities covered by separate notices.

No PHI on this Site. The Site is not intended for submitting protected health information (PHI). Please don’t include medical or sensitive personal information in Site forms or emails. If we offer patient portals or research enrollment tools, those will have separate privacy notices.

  • Donation information (amount, date, donor contact for receipts/acknowledgments). Payment card data is collected and processed by our payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers.

  • Any content you include in messages or free-text fields.

b) Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers may collect:

  • Device/usage data: IP address, browser type/version, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and general location inferred from IP.

  • Cookies and similar technologies: Cookies, pixels, tags used for essential Site functions, performance measurement, and basic analytics. You can control cookies via your browser; disabling them may impact Site functionality.

c) Information from third parties

  • We may receive limited information from service providers (e.g., analytics, email, event, and donation platforms) to operate the Site and understand usage.

5) Donations & Payment Processing

Online donations are processed by third-party processors. We receive limited donor contact/transaction metadata for acknowledgments and records, but not full payment card details. Review the processor’s terms and privacy policy when donating.

6) Cookies, Analytics & “Do Not Track”

  • We use essential and performance cookies and basic analytics (e.g., page views, referrers) to operate and improve the Site.

  • You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

  • Some browsers send “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. The Site doesn’t respond to DNT, but you can restrict cookies as noted above.

7) Email Communications

If you subscribe, we send occasional updates. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in our emails or by contacting privacypolicy@harmonyhealthfoundation.org.

8) Children’s Privacy

The Site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect PI from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided information via the Site, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Nonprofit note: Many state privacy laws exclude nonprofits or apply only above certain thresholds. If not legally required, we may voluntarily honor certain requests as a best practice.
